Welcome to Ashley’s Favorites!
Thank you for checking out my page! I created Ashleys Favorites because a lot of people come to me for ideas or recommendations on products / tools that I use around the house. So, I wanted to create a page where you guys can see all of my favorite things to use around the house. :) You will find different types of tools on this page, favorite paints, ladders, basically anything that I use I will be uploading here! If you want to purchase these items all you have to do is click the ‘Link To Purchase” buttons next to the item and it will take you to my store where I stock these things for you guys! Check them out :) And if you have any questions specifically about something feel free to message me directly! I’d love to help!
Rust-Oleum’s Ultra Cover Paint from Home Depot (White)
This paint is perfect for painting trim or baseboards. I also use it to paint interior/exterior doors. It comes in multiple different sheens and colors. I love the gloss sheen for exterior doors. It cleans easy, its easy to apply and lasts forever!
The Hillman Group- Monkey Hooks
These hooks are no-joke! They are perfect for hanging pictures or any decor, really...straight into the drywall. You literally just push them straight in to wherever you want to hang your picture. No tools needed. And, if you’re like me and change your decor constantly, it’s not a huge deal when you go to move the picture! They leave a tiny hole and come in multiple different sizes and strengths and they can actually hold quite a bit of weight!

Little Giant Ladder
These ladders are amazing for a multitude of reasons- They are easy to store, easy to use, easy to haul around and don’t take up a lot of space. They have many different functions as well. You can typically find them in any hardware store or on Amazon. We use our’s all the time around the house and we love it!
DeWalt 20-Volt Max Lithium-Ion Cordless Drill
I have to admit. I am a girl who loves tools. And this drill is nothing short of amazing. It’s lightweight, durable, and easy to use. It packs a pretty decent punch too. I haven’t had a job to big or too small for this thing! We have multiple other DeWalt tools that operate off of the same battery and I have to say, I love them all. Everything is cordless, which is an added bonus in itself!
Ryobi 18-Volt Cordless Air-Strike Nailer
This is probably my ride or die tool. Like the thing I absolutely can not live without. It goes everywhere with me. I can’t even begin to tell you how amazing this thing is. It’s perfect for small projects. Hanging trim, or anything else that randomly needs nailed. And believe me, once you own this guy, you’ll find plenty that needs nailed! Does anyone even actually use a hammer and nails anymore? Have I mentioned It’s perfect for shiplapping a wall? You seriously can’t go wrong with this purchase. And your husband will be dying to know how you got those perfectly nailed boards! :)
Annie Sloan Chalk Paint
Chalk Paint does wonders for furniture. Whenever I want to refresh a room or a piece of furniture’s appearance- I bust out the chalk paint. There’s no need for priming or sanding, it’s easy to apply and comes in all different colors! You can use it on nearly anything. It’s even durable for exterior decor. I love it- and have found that you can get so many looks with just using different techniques or mixing colors. The top coat wax also comes in two different colors. A clear and an antique. So whether you are looking for a clean finish or something more aged - any look is achievable. Follow the steps on the back of the can or visit the website directly for added information.
